Lightning Talk Publishers frequently offer supplemental content to accompany their textbooks, creating a "course in a box." When faculty transition to OER content, they may spend a great deal of time creating assignments, tests, lecture slides etc. to accompany the free resources. This was the challenge following the adoption of an affordable textbook for CPR/First Aid classes taught in my department. In this presentation, I will explain my vision for augmenting the course and how I was able to secure an Affordable Learning Georgia grant to bring the vision to fruition.
