Georgia State University and the Center for Excellence in
Teaching and Learning (CETL) were recently awarded the Digital
Economy Initiative, funded with support from Silicon Valley
Community Foundation and in collaboration with Cisco Corporate
Social Responsibility. From that funding, the Digital Learners to
Leaders program was developed, which is a 3-year program,
that will encourage Georgia State University students, with a
heavy focus on female and minority students, to become more
digitally literate and to pursue studies in computer science and
technology.
